SEEDS
SEEDS is an evocative exploration of the feminine connection to life, birth, and the cycles of creation. This series delves deep into the symbolism of women as the vessels of life, akin to seeds that hold the potential for growth, transformation, and beauty. Drawing on themes of fertility, femininity, and the sacred cycles of life, SEEDS examines the powerful role of women as givers of life, whose beauty and strength evolve much like the stages of a blossoming flower.
At the heart of the series is the portrayal of women through the lens of the Wiccan archetypes of the Mother, Maiden, and Crone—representations of the life stages and the essential roles women play in the lifecycle. From the innocence and potential of the Maiden, to the nurturing and creative force of the Mother, and finally the wisdom and experience of the Crone, SEEDS embraces the multifaceted nature of womanhood and how these stages are reflected in both the physical body and the spiritual journey.
This project also intertwines themes of sacred geometry, using it as a metaphor for the divine design inherent in the female form and the cycles of life. Sacred geometry has long been a symbol of the structure of the universe, and here it is used to symbolize the intricate balance and harmony within the feminine essence—the unseen patterns that connect life, birth, and death, all centered around the seed as a symbol of renewal and growth.
The SEEDS series presents women as both delicate and powerful, as both the creators and sustainers of life. The imagery captures the beauty of women through the stages of life, revealing how, much like flowers, they bloom and transform, casting unique expressions of life and energy into the world.
Through vibrant colors, organic forms, and symbolic elements, SEEDS honors the sacredness of the female experience, from youth to old age, and the eternal roles that women play in shaping the world through the gift of life. This series invites viewers to reflect on the cyclical nature of existence and the divine connection between women, nature, and the essence of creation.
